Connect Official WhatsApp Business
The WhatsApp CRM menu opens the Chat workspace for official conversations. Your team manages WhatsApp channels, Inbox, templates, and quick replies there under the Konektor identity.
Open WhatsApp CRM from the member dashboard.
Use the official channel for the team Inbox, delivery status, approved templates, and the 24-hour service-window rule.
Member access
| Role | What the member can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Connect and manage official channels, templates, quick replies, and conversations. |
| Admin | Connect and manage official channels, templates, quick replies, and conversations, except owner-only actions. |
| Staff | Handle Inbox and permitted CRM work. Staff cannot connect or change a channel. |
| Viewer | Read conversations and customer data. Viewers cannot send, assign, edit, or connect anything. |
If a management action is unavailable to staff or viewers, that matches their access level.
Before you start
Prepare:
- an owner or admin role in the Konektor workspace;
- an active workspace subscription;
- a business-account login with admin access;
- the WhatsApp Business number that you want to connect;
- access to the number's verification method if requested;
- a browser that allows the authorization window.
Select the correct workspace before opening Chat. If the number is still attached to another official service, complete its migration or release process first.
Open the Chat workspace
- Enter the correct Konektor workspace.
- Click WhatsApp CRM in the main menu.
- Wait for Menyiapkan Chat and Membuka ruang kerja Chat to finish.
- Confirm that the correct workspace name appears.
Konektor prepares access automatically. You do not need to create another account or copy credentials.
Connect the number
The Chat workspace currently shows the action labels below as written.
- Open WhatsApp in the Chat workspace.
- Click Hubungkan WhatsApp.
- Choose the official connection method that fits how your team uses the number.
- Sign in with a business account that has admin access.
- Select the correct business account and WhatsApp number.
- Complete the verification shown.
- Return to the Chat workspace and wait for WhatsApp terhubung.
- Click Segarkan if the channel list has not changed.
- Confirm that the number card shows Aktif.
The connection is ready when the number appears on Channel WhatsApp with an Aktif status. A message that the process started does not mean the number can receive messages yet.
Understand channel status
| Status or screen | Meaning and action |
|---|---|
| WhatsApp terhubung | Authorization succeeded. Return to the channel list and check the number. |
| Aktif | The channel can receive and send messages under WhatsApp rules. |
| Nonaktif | The channel is not processing messages. An owner or admin must inspect and activate it. |
| Setup WhatsApp tidak tersedia | Wait briefly, click Segarkan, then try again. |
| Akses WhatsApp dibatasi | The current role cannot manage channels. Ask an owner or admin to continue. |
Do not create a second connection for the same number simply because the list did not update immediately.
Test an inbound message and reply
Use a team-owned number as the test sender. Do not use a customer conversation for the first test.
- Send a new message from the test number to the business number.
- Open Inbox in the Chat workspace.
- Select All.
- Open the new test conversation.
- Write and send a short reply.
- Wait for the outgoing message status to update.
- Click Resolve when the test is complete.
Setup works when the inbound message appears, the test number receives the reply, and you can resolve the conversation.
Prepare a template for the 24-hour window
A customer message opens the service window for 24 hours. After it closes, the team must use an approved template.
- Open Templates.
- Click Sinkron dari Meta.
- Confirm that the required template has an APPROVED status.
Read WhatsApp Templates and Quick Replies before testing a conversation outside the 24-hour window.
Features that remain in Konektor
The Chat workspace manages official channels, Inbox, templates, and quick replies. These features remain in the Konektor dashboard:
- WhatsApp Links (Rotator);
- QR Sessions (advanced);
- Automation Rules;
- Custom Domains;
- WhatsApp Branding.
Changes to those features do not connect, disconnect, or move official conversations in the Chat workspace.
Pause or disconnect only when required
Pausing or disconnecting a channel stops message handling for that number. Confirm that no active conversation is in progress and notify the team first.
Do not pause and reactivate a channel as the first response to a delayed message. Click Segarkan, check channel status, then follow WhatsApp Inbox Troubleshooting.
