Meta Forms

Meta Forms brings leads from Meta lead forms (Lead Ads) into Konektor. Each person who fills in a form becomes one lead. Your team can contact the person on WhatsApp at once.

Open Tracking & Ads > Meta Forms.

What you need

• The Owner or Admin role in Konektor.
• A Facebook account that manages your Facebook Page.
• A role that can create ads for that Page.
• Lead access for Konektor on that Page.

The Meta Forms menu shows only in workspaces that have this feature.

Connect a Facebook Page

1. Open Meta Forms.
2. Click Connect Facebook Page.
3. Log in with the Facebook account that manages your Page.
4. On the Facebook screen, select the Page and grant all requested permissions.
5. Return to Konektor. Tick the Pages whose leads you want to receive.
6. Click Save.

Konektor reads leads only from the Pages that you pick. A Page that the account cannot advertise for is disabled.

The Pages tab shows each Page with the account that connected it. Konektor uses the email of that account to tell you when the connection has a problem.

Receive leads

1. In the Pages tab, turn on Receive leads for your Page.
2. Wait until the status is Active.

Each new lead from the forms of that Page arrives in Leads. When you turn this on for the first time, Konektor also fetches the leads of the last 90 days. The limit is the first 5,000 leads.

The Page row shows one line about this fetch:

• Fetching leads of the last 90 days: the fetch is running.
• Leads from the last 90 days arrived: the fetch is done.
• Konektor stopped at the first 5,000 leads: the limit was reached.
• Fetching old leads stopped: fix the Page status, then turn the switch on again.

To stop receiving leads, turn off Receive leads. To remove a Page, open the row menu and choose Disconnect Page. Leads that already arrived stay.

Page status

When the status is not Active, the Receive leads switch is off and the reason shows under it. Leads that arrive in that time are held. They arrive after you fix the status.

See leads from a form

Open Leads and click a lead from a form. The lead detail shows:

• a Meta Form badge with the form name and the ad name,
• the status of the first WhatsApp message,
• a Form answers block with the answers that the person gave.

Konektor keeps the first 10 extra answers of each form. Names, phone numbers, and email addresses are stored encrypted.

Send the first WhatsApp message

In the Forms tab, click a form to open its settings.

1. Choose a CS rotator. The rotator decides which CS handles leads from this form.
2. Turn on Send the first WhatsApp message.
3. Choose a WhatsApp number.
4. A QR number sends text. An official number sends an approved template.
5. Write the message. Click a marker such as Lead name or CS name to insert it.
6. Click Save.

Konektor sends this message once for each lead. If the lead has no valid phone number, Konektor does not send it and the lead detail gives the reason.

Held leads

A lead is held when Konektor cannot process it now. The cause can be the daily lead limit, a Page that needs a new login, or closed lead access.

The form settings show the number of held leads and the reason. After you fix the cause, click Bring in held leads. These leads arrive without the automatic WhatsApp message.

Create a form

1. In the Forms tab, click Create form.
2. Step 1, Questions: enter the form name, choose the Page and the language, and choose whether Konektor asks for email. Full name and phone number are always asked. You can add up to 5 questions.
3. Step 2, Privacy and thank you: enter the link to your business privacy policy (https), the thank-you title and text, the CS rotator, and the button text. The button opens the link of the rotator that you choose.
4. Step 3, Preview: check the form as it looks on a phone, then click Save to Page.

Your Page must accept the Lead Ads terms on Meta. If it did not, the button shows the reason and a Open the Lead Ads terms link. Accept the terms on Meta, then save again.

Use the form in an ad

In the form settings, or after you save a new form, click Use in ad. Konektor opens the ad builder with the Leads (form) objective and your form. Choose the ad account, set up the ad, and create it paused. You check the ad on Meta before it goes live.

If creating ads from Konektor is not on for your workspace, the button is off and the reason shows. You can still use the form in Meta Ads Manager.

Send lead status back to Meta

When you turn on conversion sending, Konektor sends the status of a lead (for example closed) back to Meta. Meta uses this status to improve your form ads.

For Meta to use these events:

1. Open Events Manager on Meta.
2. Choose the same dataset that Konektor uses.
3. Connect the dataset to your CRM, as the Meta guide for Conversion Leads says.
