WA & Visitor Identification
Konektor uses a layered identification system to recognize visitors who click your WhatsApp Rotator link. This system ensures accurate tracking data and proper lead management, even if visitors return later.
How Identification Works
Konektor identifies visitors based on the following priority order:
1. Visitor Cookie (visitor_code)
When someone first visits the Rotator link (e.g., konektor.id/wa/promo), Konektor plants a Cookie in their browser containing a unique code called visitor_code (Example: Visitor [ABC1234]).
- Primary Identity: If the same visitor clicks the link again tomorrow, Konektor immediately knows this is the same person.
- Sticky Agent: If this visitor was previously directed to CS A, subsequent clicks will automatically be directed back to CS A (as long as that CS is active), so the conversation continues.
2. Ad Click IDs (Tracking Pixel)
If this is a first visit (no cookie yet), Konektor will look for special URL Parameters from ad platforms:

Click Event
If this ID is found, Konektor will record that this lead came from that specific ad and send a "Click" event back to the ad platform for algorithm optimization.
3. UTM Parameters
If there's no Click ID, Konektor will look at standard UTM parameters:

4. New vs Returning Lead
Every visitor who clicks the WA button is recorded in the Leads menu:
- New Visitor: A new Lead is created with name
Visitor [CODE]. Initial status isnew. - Returning Visitor: Existing Lead is updated (Timezone, IP, Location, etc.), and their tracking status is refreshed.
Visitor [CODE] will change if you or your CS edits the lead name in the dashboard, or if name data comes from other form integrations.Next Steps
