Why Initiate Checkout does not appear

There are two causes.

On a dedicated CTWA dataset, Events Manager does not show Initiate Checkout. Konektor sends LeadSubmitted once, QualifiedLead when the status becomes Qualified, then Purchase when the status becomes Purchase. The Delivery log badge for this path is Meta CTWA.

On a regular pixel (badge CTWA backup or Meta CAPI), Initiate Checkout is sent only from Proposal, and only when Campaign type is Sales. Contacted sends Contact. Responded sends Lead.

Use this, not that

Sales preset:

The Leads campaign type has no Proposal row. The built-in Initiate Checkout exists only on Sales.

Changing a cell switches the campaign type to Custom. On a CTWA dataset, the name you type is still sent as LeadSubmitted or Purchase. QualifiedLead comes only from the Qualified status with its default Meta cell. Initiate Checkout still does not appear on that dataset.

How to check

Open Tracking & Ads > Conversions.
Keep Campaign type on Sales if you want Initiate Checkout on a regular pixel.
In Event for each lead status, the Meta cell on Proposal must be InitiateCheckout. Leave Contacted as Contact and Responded as Lead.
Move one test lead to Proposal.
Open Delivery log.
- Badge CTWA backup or Meta CAPI, status Sent: the event name is InitiateCheckout.
- Badge Meta CTWA, status Sent: the event name is LeadSubmitted. QualifiedLead appears after Qualified, and Purchase appears only after the Purchase status. A Proposal change after LeadSubmitted was sent shows skipped.

A built-in event name is sent once per lead on every platform. If Initiate Checkout already went out from another status, Proposal does not send it again.
