Data Retention Policy
Understanding how long your data is stored and when it is automatically deleted is crucial for compliance and privacy. Konektor applies different retention periods based on your subscription plan.
Data Storage Periods
Data retention varies per plan to balance business needs with storage costs and privacy. Below are the storage duration details for various data types:
| Data Type | Trial | Starter | Pro | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Leads & Contacts | 30 Days | 360 Days | 720 Days | 1400 Days |
| Activity Logs | 14 Days | 90 Days | 180 Days | 720 Days |
Automatic Deletion
Data will be automatically permanently deleted after the retention period ends. This includes:
- Customer contact information (PII).
- Communication history.
- Related event tracking and analytics.
- System activity logs.
Warning
Deleted data cannot be recovered. Ensure you export important data before the retention period expires.
Data Export
If you need to store data longer than the retention period (for internal archiving), you can:
- Manual Export: Periodically download data from the Leads dashboard in CSV/Excel format.
- API Export: Use our API to pull data on a schedule to your own data warehouse.
Enterprise Needs
Enterprise customers can request a Custom Retention period according to your company's compliance policies. Please contact your Account Manager to discuss this option.
