Direct MCP connections from Cursor
Manual Cursor and Grok connections use the official application identity.
MCP connections added directly from Cursor or Grok can use the official Cursor application identity. Consent and connection lists show Cursor / Grok Bot.
The direct MCP address also supplies the login information that applications need to start the connection.
If the previous connection failed, start the connection again from your app. Check the workspaces and requested permissions before you select Allow.
Claude connections and the plugin package keep their existing permissions. New connections require your consent.
